Trooper Joseph Scimone and K9 Lily
Joseph
(Joe) Scimone was born in Tucson, Arizona and graduated high school in Sahuarita,
Arizona. After high school he attended William Penn University and earned a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics. 
Joe has 6 1/2 years of service in Law Enforcement. He started his career with the Cheyenne Police Department in 2001, and in 2003 he continued his law enforcement experience by becoming a trooper with the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Joe is a also a Certified Detection Canine Handler. Joe and his wife are expecting their first child this summer.
K-9
Lily is a female Black Labrador approximately 1 year old. Lily received her explosive
detection training at Vom Kaiserhofe Training Center in Lawrence, Kansas. In October
2007 Lily was assigned to her handler, Joe Scimone and both were certified as
an explosive detection K9 unit.
